Founded by Neighborhood Playhouse alumni Christopher Hayes and Breanna Dillon, Witchboy Theatre is a Toronto-based, independent theatre company with a focus on producing provocative, rarely seen works from renowned playwrights.

Christopher Hayes

Breanna Dillon

Originally from Montreal, Christopher Hayes is an actor, producer and director based in Toronto. In addition to his work with Witchboy,  Chris has produced two shows for the Coal Mine Theatre (Instructions… and Superior Donuts) as well as the World Premiere production of John Patrick Shanley’s A Woman is a Secret. In film and television, Chris has produced numerous music videos, the third season of the award-winning web series, That’s My DJ  and the short film, Jeremy and Margot Make a Baby, in which he also stars. A versatile performer with a background in classical music, Chris' most recent work can be seen in Bon Cop Bad Cop 2, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, Quantico and The Bold Type. Chris is a proud graduate of the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre.

Breanna Dillon is a Toronto based actor, producer, director and a co-founder of Witchboy Theatre. Breanna trained in New York City and is a graduate of The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre. What Happened Was... marks Breanna's third production with Witchboy Theatre and she is proud to be working alongside her colleagues from the Playhouse once again. Most recently, Breanna served as a producer for Unit 102 Actor's Co.'s riveting production of The Late Henry Moss by Sam Shepard.  Her acting, producing and directing credits range in film, theatre and commercials. Breanna is a member of The Toronto Actra Women's Committee{TAWC} and is currently writing her first screenplay.
